These images give followers a tangible way to understand the degree of diversity and beauty in the world that we risk losing due to the dangers that these animals face.

@foodrev

Childhood obesity has reached almost epidemic levels in many parts of the industrialised world. This charity, headed by Chef Jamie Oliver, seeks to raise awareness about the situation by pushing for mandatory food education in schools throughout the world. Oliver connects with followers that are passionate about this cause by posting images of events that showcase the cause’s mission.

@doctorswithoutborders

This international charity seeks to bring healthcare to underserved communities around the world, but particularly those that have been hard hit by wars. Many times the fighting is still raging on in the areas where these doctors deploy, so that in addition to supplying desperately needed medical care, these doctors and other trained medical staff become witnesses to the acts committed in war torn areas. The brutality of war and the plight of refugees and others in these areas is brought to home by images that the NFP posts to its Instagram account.
