Who are Generation Z?

Generation Z are the people born after Generation Y – that is, between the mid-1990s and today, although no exact range of birth dates has been agreed on so far.  Gen Z are all about creativity and technology – they have been surrounded by tablets and mobile phones since the very beginning and it is now an indispensable part of their life. It is only natural, therefore, that they use the newest technology to create art and music, to improve and develop themselves, to communicate and organise various matters. Generation Z read their books on Kindles and phones, download their music (or listen it online directly in YouTube), watch their films in Netflix. They don’t play outside as much as they used to – instead, they compete with their friends online, using consoles or fast computers. With them, mobile-friendly is a must and being introverted is a typical feature. If you want to attract their attention, you will need to be original and creative, to use all the advantages of modern technology, to have a fresh brand and, most importantly, to spend some time testing your product and making sure it is exactly what a member of Gen Z would want. Connecting with them won’t be easy – especially if you are part of the Generations X and Y, but it is not impossible – others have done it successfully.
